Assisted Living Billing for CDAC and Homemaker Services

Iowa Total Care recognizes that Assisted Living Facilities are exempt from submitting CDAC (S5125) and Homemaker (S5130) claims through our EVV vendor CareBridge. In order to ensure that these services are paid appropriately, we ask that CDAC and Homemaker services (provided in an Assisted Living Facility) be billed with the place of service (POS) code 13. If this POS code isn’t billed on the claim form, the services will be denied.
