Discontinuation of Levemir®

Novo Nordisk, the makers of Levemir, a drug which is a long-acting basal insulin, have announced that they will discontinue Levemir in the United States.

Effective April 2024, Novo Nordisk will discontinue the Levemir injection pens. At the end of the year, effective December 2024, they will discontinue the Levemir vials.
