DME Statutory Non Covered List

Iowa Total Care will be following Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) services not covered by Medicare Part B. Any HealthCare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) code submitted to Iowa Total Care that is not covered by Medicare will not deny for other coverage. Providers will no longer receive any recovery notifications for these codes in future audits from Iowa Total Care.
